			Ich hab jetzt schon seit einigen Monaten richtig trouble mit meinem Mailserver... 
		
		
		
		
		
		
			
leider hat mir bis jetzt keiner bis zum abschluss (also sodass alles funzte) helfen können, daher frag ich einfach mal blind hier rein. System: Debian Etch Mailsystem vorher: MTA Exim4 + Vexim als Konfig oberfläche dovecot als imap+pop3 clamd spamd mailman Angefangen hat es mit meiner Dummheit, als ich aus testzwecken mal die Rechte für alle anderen User (nicht Owner der files) wegnahm, da ich davon ausging, wenn ein programm zugriff will, wirds das schon chowned haben, dass dann die ganzen phps nicht mehr gingen war der erste effekjt der sich aber relativ schnell wieder rückgängig hat machen lassen. das was ich danach gemerkt habe (2 Wochen später), war, dass ein User mit richtigem Passwort nicht mehr auf die Mail- Weboberfläche gekommen ist. Auth. Fehlgeschlagen. Meine Auth ging noch. Ich änderte sein passwd im Vexim, was jedoch nichts änderte... das neue pass ging auch nicht. Ich änderte mein passwort mal zum test, dann ging bei mir jedoch weder das alte noch das neue passwort... Grande Shit! Da ich ja aktiv mit dem mailserver arbeite ist das ein echtes scheißproblem. Da ich mir nicht zu helfen wusste, deinstallierte ich die dienste, reinstallierte sie, prüfte nochmal die Configs und nun ging der imap login auch nicht mehr... Da das Tut mit dem ich den Mailserver aufgestellt habe weg ist (im internet gelöscht worden) habe ich nun von Feudas ein neues tut bekommen nachdem ich den Mailserver komplett neu aufgesetzt habe (also alles was mit mail server zu tun hatte -purge und dann gemäss der anleitung weiter). Dieses System ist nun jetzt am laufen: MTA Exim4 + Vexim als Konfig oberfläche courier als imap+pop3 clamd spamd mailman Nun ging imap, pop3 und das versenden von mails (smtp) aber trotz dass ich mir von meinem gmx acc mails schicke kommen diese nicht an... Wohlgemerkt bekomme ich keine meldung dass die mail nicht zugestellt werden konnte und die Logs auf dem Server sind auch leer diesbezüglich... mail verschwunden... Ich habs dann mal mit dovecot nochmal als imap und pop3 server versucht, aber die laufen nichtmal an als dienst, geschweige denn was annehmen. Kurzum weiß ich nicht mehr was ich machen soll... dabei hat das doch am anfang so toll gefunzt... hat irgendeiner noch ne idee? Falls mir jemand helfen kann, schließe ich eine kleine Gegenleistung nicht aus. Wie diese Gegenleistung aussieht kann man dann bei Behebung des Problems ausmachen. 	das hört sich nach nem config/rechte Problem an. Iwas zwischen Mail annehmen und ins Maildir/mfile schmeißen läuft da schief. Vermutlich wird da vom MTA(Exim) was falsch zugeordnet. Gruß SP4c3  |

			Ich bleibe bei exim wegen der geilen oberfläche vexim die dat alles überschaubar macht. 
		
		
		
		
		
		
			
daher ist das tut für mich ungeeignet... ich hatte diese version des mailservers nach einem vorhandenen Tut das mir Feudas empfohlen hat aufgesetzt... es geht ja auch alles... ausser das mails empfangen ^^ ich hab alles bis ins kleinste befolgt (auch wenns nicht viel war) und trotzdem läuft das nicht rund... SP4C3 kannst du da evtl helfen? wenn du vermutest dass da was schief geht... help please ^^ sag mir was du brauchst.... da du exim erwähnt hast, hier die hauptconfig: Klicke hier, um den gesamten Text zu sehen

	Klar die Configs der einzelnen Serverproggis (also exim, courier). Dann wäre, falls net zu groß, der Inhalt von /var/log/mail.log ganz gut (die bitte per PM o.ä. , steht zu viel drin was net jeder wissen sollte!) sowie die IP(pm), und ne existierende Mailaddy(pm), um mal zu schauen ob er die Mails evtl. einfach nur mit nem temporären Fehler abweist -> dauert ein paar tage bis die unzustellbar sind.  |

es muss in den logs wa szu finden sein. egal ob er was nicht annehmen will, oder auch wenn er was reinbekommt und es einsortiert in meinem mail log steht das alles drin. selbst wenn eine mail nicht zu findne ist weil noch ein systemfehler vorligt mus szumindest ein logeintrag existieren egal ob positiv oder negativ.

Es lag daran dass exim nur lokal horchte (Und ich nicht wusste dass exim extern lauschen muss! Lernfehler meinerseits: Ich dachte PoP sei für Mailempfang zuständig und müsse extern lauschen, weshalb ich auch die meiste zeit dort in der Konfig gesucht habe.). Das was die lösung noch hinauszögerte war, dass exim sich nicht neustarten/stoppen etc. ließ da in der konfiguration sachen falsch waren (Falscher mysql Socket Pfad). Das kam daher da ich die konfiguraion einmal aus Not mit der standart version ersetzt habe und dann wieder angepasst habe und dabei vergass ich den mysql socket. Scheinbar hat "init.d/exim4 restart" dann funktioniert, aber da sämtliche ausgaben von dem script fehlten kam mir das komisch vor und ich probierte ein "init.d/exim4 stop" was aber nicht funktionierte. Dann killte ich den prozess und versuchte "init.d/exim4 start". Nachdem wieder alle Ausgaben fehlten ging ich nochmal die konfiguration gründlich durch und fand dass der sql socket falsch war... nun ließ sich exim wieder starten/neustarten und übernahm die änderungen an der Konfiguration an der das problem bereits gelöst war, dass exim nur lokal horcht. Somit ging wieder alles. ^^
